Always leave loved one with loving words,
It may be the last time you see them

You cannot make someone love you
All you can do is
Be someone who can be loved
The rest is up to them

"MY LOVE"

To KAY.....Love ROB

A chance meeting,
a small conversation,
a connection established,
a friendship formed,
Lord this is meant to be
this is meant to be

Idle conversations,
trusts forming,
questions being asked,
Lord this is meant to be
this is meant to be

A bond forming,
a love developing,
confidential meetings,
flirting beyond borders
Lord this is meant to be
this is meant be

One soul in two bodies,
two bodies longing to be one,
two minds always touching,
two hearts that transcend time,
and distance
but it's not meant to be
it's not meant to be

wanting, longing, yearning to be together.
soft kisses sent, spirits entwined
distance being bridged by love
but it's not meant to be
it's not meant to be

waiting every night to see her,
to be fortunate enough to
hear her voice,
wanting desperately to hold her,
to touch her, to caress her
but it's not meant to be
it's not meant to be

"CHANGES"
Author Unknown

The things that change us most in life
Seem like they're monumental
But just a few years later
They seem quite incidental
If we could only learn to keep
Our head above our heart
Keep our feelings well in tow
To stop as soon as start
Jealousy and anger
Replace them both with love
And when that seems impossible
Ask guidance from above
And then try to remember
T'was true right from the start
That man of course is usually
TOO SOON OLD AND TOO LATE SMART

"FRIENDSHIP IS...."
Author Unknown

Friendship is a PRICELESS GIFT!
But it's value is far greater
Than a mountain of GOLD.
For gold is cold and lifeless,
It can neither see nor hear.
And in the time of trouble;
It is powerless to cheer--
It has no ears to listen,
nor heart to understand.
It cannot bring you comfort,
Or lend a helping hand.
So when you ask GOD for a gift;
Be thankful if he sends
not diamonds, pearls, or riches,
BUT THE LOVE OF A REAL TRUE FRIEND!

.... ON THE DEATH OF MY FATHER

by Watch

A redefined family sheds a tear
For what was and what may have been

Death takes not his memory
Laying still in quiet passages of our mind

From a shadowed man sprang forth light
To renew life and amend the past

Infant eyes redeem the soul
Of tattered life and tarnished dreams

In his death we cherish the hope of life
Bequeathed to us by he who gave,
But nourished not the joy of his creation

No need for regret
For regret is to confess life was not as we pleased

Lay still now as your dream is fulfilled
By the bearers of your light

Your memory lingers on
In those who stand and weep for you
From the train of life
