WHY I CHOSE THE NICK "SNOWBIRD"
Some personal stuff.

WINTER IN QUEBEC

You are listening to: "DANGERZONE"

Aviation has always been a part of my life. My dad was a Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Air Force (R.C.A.F.) and at one time had his own aircraft a "Harvard".
Now I am still involved, as my husband is an F.S.S.(Flight Service Specialist) at Jean Lesage International Airport in Quebec City, Canada. I also have a brother who is with Nav Canada and another brother who is a helicopter engineer.
I lived in the arctic for 4 years in Kuujjuaq and I have to admit, I like watching and feeding birds.

I first saw "The Snowbirds" fly at an airshow in Sherbrooke, Quebec and I was blown away by their skill and aerobatics. They are an amazing team to watch. You can link with their site below. Have a look...check out their schedule...they may be flying into your town soon, it is an event well worth seeing!

So these are all the reasons that contribute to my choice of the nick "Snowbird" :-)
