"When We First Met"
When I saw you walk through that door
Your eyes bright with life
Your smile making the angels sing
You walked toward me and my heart just stopped
Melting in your presence
The night wore on with your beautiful face
Gleaming in the light
I thouht I'd seen beauty before
But I was wrong until that night
I watched your body move
I listened to your beautiful voice
I knew from that moment on I had no choice
But to let my heart go
For I knew it spoke your name
You created my life anew

"HIGH FLIGHT"

a nineteen-year-old American serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force in England,
was killed when his Spitfire collided with another airplane inside a cloud.
Discovered among his personal effects was this sonnet,
written on the back of a letter at the time he was in flying school at Farnborough, England.*****
Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds -- and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of -- wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew.
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

"MY GOODBYE"
I have lost a friend, someone that I have never met
we used to talk, not always, but enough
He opened my eyes to things I had never seen
I met this friend here, on the internet.
I have to admit, sometimes I didn't want to talk,
So I stay invisible, doesnt look like I'm on
It's no big deal though, we can talk next time
I never thought that next time would never come.
Losing someone on here is worse than in "real life"
Thers's no closure, no funeral, where is he now>
I can't say goodbye, his family I will never meet
So I sit here and cry, see his name and click "delete".
Be good to your chat friends, give them a smile and a hug
You never know what tomorrow can bring,
you could lose them in an instant.....just like we lost "BUG"
